¿What is it?

BASC  “ Coffee Chapter ” is an association without encouragement of gain of gremial character, that seeks to defend the interests of the coffee exporters and all its logistic chains to facilitate the international marketing of the grain in a sure and dependable market, through programs that require rigurous standards of security to avoid the contamination of the coffee loads of narcotics, contraband, and other ilicits.

This association is supported by foreign and national authorities, among them Bureau Of Customs and Border Protection of the USA., the General Direction of Customs and Indirect Rights of France, the Special Customs and Taxes Department of the Statal Agency of Tributary Administration of Spain and the General Direction of Customs of Dominican Republic, to implement security standards in the exterior chain of commerce

¿Why is it important for us and for our customers?

This certification is important for us and most of all for our clients, because it shows that we have high security standards in our processes as well as direct contact and it remains with the national and internationals agencies and authorities that cooperate with the program. In other words that our logistic chain can be considered safe and this way facilitates the processes of export and import in the international commerce according to the institutions that support the program.

This certificate is a letter of presentation for the current and potential customers, because according the security programs in the international commerce the idea is to block the logistics chains of the contamination of the legal loads with illicit loads.
